[=] Kekkei Genkai

- The Sharingan ( Basically Meaning; Copy Wheel Eye. ) is a bloodline limit, or Kekkei Genkai, which appears in members of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure. Some think that it was derived from the Byakugan many years ago. It allows the user to comprehend the attack of an opponent almost before the attacker knows what attack they are making. The Sharingan also allows the user to see the flow of chakra within a person, but to a lesser extent than the Byakugan. This “Copy Wheel Eye” Gives one the Ability To Read Taijutsu, Genjutsu & Ninjutsu almost instantly; and then being able to defeat it. When the Sharingan is first activated by the user, it has one to two tomoe around a central pupil. The wielder of the Sharingan, through continued use, evolves the Sharingan which involves gaining tomoe. The maximum number of tomoe in a conventional Sharingan is three. The only level up from there is the Mangekyo Sharingan, which is said to be gained by killing one's best friend. However, it can be acheived naturally.

The Sharingan does not automatically appear from birth in a user; instead, it will usually appear when the user is in a life-threatening situation, where the power of the Sharingan could save the user. After this first appearance, the user can then call up the Sharingan any time he or she pleases. Due to its unique nature, however, Kakashi's Sharingan cannot be deactivated, and thus he usually covers it to conserve chakra. The power of the Sharingan is judged through the number of tomoe in the eye, known as the “Comma.” It is not unheard of for a Sharingan user to have different amounts of tomoe in each eye. For example, Sasuke's Sharingan initially had two tomoe in one eye and one in the other. Upon his first regular activation of it, it had evolved to two tomoe in each eye. He evolved it to three in each eye during his battle with Naruto at the Valley of the End. A fully-matured Sharingan has three tomoe in each eye.

The Sharingan's first and most well known ability is to memorize any technique that it witnesses. It can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as his own. In order to reproduce copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. A prime example is Rock Lee's brand of taijutsu. While Sasuke was able to copy some of Lee's moves, they put a much more significant strain on him since he hasn't trained nearly as hard as Lee has. In addition to physical skill, the Sharingan cannot allow the user to reproduce other kekkei genkai since the Sharingan user doesn't possess the same genetic trait. The Sharingan also grants the user incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to track fast-moving objects with ease and even predict the subsequent movements of those objects. The ability to track and predict movement is largely based on individual skill, as unskilled users have much more trouble tracking fast-moving objects. A fully-evolved Sharingan eye can track all but the quickest opponents, even if the user can't move at the same speed, (so even if the user can follow his or her opponents movements it doesn't necessarily mean their body will be able to react fast enough even though they saw the attack coming). This perception is also great enough to see through genjutsu, depending upon the skill of the user, and the ability to observe the movement and flow of chakra, but not to the same extent or clarity as the Byakugan. Additionally, the Sharingan grants the user exceptional analytical powers, allowing them to instinctively pick up on various visual clues with little difficulty. In one instance, Kakashi had to shut his eyes to avoid accidentally reading Naruto's lip movements while he was spoiling the ending of one of Kakashi's Icha Icha books. The Sharingan also is capable of a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent. When used in conjunction with the other aspects of the Sharingan, this allows the user to perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes, even before they do, making it appear as if the user can see the future.

[=] Transplanting The Sharingan Eye

- It is possible to transplant Sharingan eyes from one person to another, as occurred with Kakashi and his deceased comrade Obito Uchiha. However, transplanted eyes do not work as well in a non-Uchiha body, causing more strain on the user, as is the case with Kakashi - extended use of his Sharingan will cause him to collapse. Uchiha clan members are not burdened with this weakness; while activation of the Sharingan does consume chakra, the drain is so small as to be insignificant. Itachi in particular seems to have no trouble keeping his Sharingan activated near-constantly. Transplanting the Sharingan eyes from a living Uchiha is also the only way to avoid the loss of sight over time from the Mangekyou Sharingan.

[=] Eye Variations

Normal Uchiha Eye (E-Rank)
- This eye holds no abilities other than any regular eye, it comes in many colours, usually dark, and sometimes even black. This is the deactivated Sharingan.

Ichi Tomoe (D-Rank)
- The eye turns red, a ring of faded black in the center, between the middle of the black pupil, and the outside of the eye, along this faded ring is a comma of black, when activated this comma swirls around the ring, yet stays in place shortly after. This eye holds the power to see fast moving objects, and the ability to see through henge, and react to fast-moving objects.

Ni Tomoe (C-Rank)
- This eye looks the same as the Ichi Tomoe, except that another comma appears on the other side of the first, when the Sharingan has evolved to Ni Tomoe in an eye, that eye cannot go back to Ichi Tomoe. This eye holds the ability to see through Clones, and see the build-up of chakra, as well as copy Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and see through Genjutsu.

San Tomoe (Adv.C-Rank)
- This eye is the final of the Tomoes, and has three commas around the faded ring, alike the Ni Tomoe, when it evolves in one eye, that eye cannot go any Tomoe less. The San Tomoe Sharingan has the ability to copy genjutsu. as well as sense muscle tensions in their area, thus being able to locate people without actually seeing them.

Inisharu Mangekyou (After Killing Close Friend/Pure-Branch Relative, B-Rank)
- This is the evolution of Tomoe Sharingan, the fourth level, after both eyes has three tomoe, this eye has the same red background, yet a large black pupil, still the faded black ring, yet emerging from the pupil, comes three thick tendrils of swerved black. This Sharingan holds the same abilities as the Tomoe sharingan, yet simply has no other use, except that it can evolve into the Mangekyou, unlike the other Tomoes however, three tomoe can be activated, but not the other variations except for Normal, also this sharingan can only be attained after killing a close friend, or a relative in your same branch (AKA brother, sister, mother, or father, not aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, or nephews.)

Mangekyou (B-Rank, 3 Days after killing Pure-Branch or Close Friend)
- This eye varies in appearance, it still bears the red background, and black pupil, yet different patterns appear in each Mangekyou form. In this form you can activate the Three Tomoe, nothing more nothing less. This Sharingan holds the ability to use special Sharingan Jutsu, Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, Kyuuzou, and Sou. However in continuous use of these jutsu, the eyes will often bleed, and slowly will blind, the only way to regain sight is to take another Sharingan-Holder’s eyes and transfer theirs with yours.

Etanaru Mangekyou (A-Rank, after fusing your blood with your Pure-Branch-Mangekyou-Holding family member and taking their Mangekyou eyes)
- This Eternal Mangekyou, supposivly gives you Immortality, yet has not yet proven so, BUT gives you the ability to “Phase” through pshyical attacks, basically your cells heal at an incredible rate, withen seconds you could heal from Rasengan, as if the attack phased through you, also this can protect from Amaterasu, becuase your cells could overlap the fire, and take away the oxygen. Alike the Mangekyou, you must take other Sharingans and transfer with yours. The Etanaru Mangekyou looks like your Mangekyou, and your eyes you took from your Pure-Branch relative combined.

Insei Mangekyou (After receiving special blood from Uchiha Shouten)
- This is the evolution of Etanaru Mangekyou. After many eyes taken from his Clan Members, their blood has fused with his, after experimenting with his baby brother, he found that fusing his “Pure-Blood” with someone elses, it forms a black background of an eye, and a grey pupil/design.This “Negative-Sharingan” holds the ability of all the other Sharingans, except that it can allow you to manipulate black flames with a handsign, and produce them from your body, these flames cannot be put out by water, but must have the oxygen taken out of them, or the fire sealed away (Fuuinka, “Fire Sealing”, is an A-Ranked Katon, so you random noobs don’t be sealing it)

[=] Amaterasu - Goddess of the Sun (Heavenly Illumination) Technique
- Amaterasu, named for the Goddess of the Sun, is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a powerful black fire. This jutsu is generated by the right Mangekyou eye. It has been said that anything within the Mangekyou's vision will burn to ash if consumed by the fire. The fire itself is said to burn for 7 days and 7 nights. Because of the amount of chakra needed to use the technique, it can only be used on a very limited basis daily. Though it is regarded as the strongest of Mangekyou's physical attacks, usage of the ability will degrade the eye further and lead the user to blindness.


[=] Tsukuyomi - God of the Moon (Moon Reader) Technique
- Tsukuyomi, named for the God of the Moon, is a Genjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to generate a powerful illusion. This jutsu is generated by the left Mangekyou eye. This highly advanced technique can not be used extensively because of the toll it places on the user. To utilize the illusion, the clan member will look into the eyes of his opponent and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. The illusion takes place in the mind of the one affected, while under the jutsu the victim is at the total mercy of the user. The user has full control over space and time in the jutsu and can place the one affected through any hell they desire for any length desired. The technique itself only lasts for but a second in reality, but the one affected could have lasted through several days of torture. It is said only a natural born member of the Uchiha Clan can overcome the illusion. To counter the technique, however, Mangekyou is not required. A highly trained normal Sharingan user can break the illusion, causing the Mangekyou user to experience additional weakness from using it.


[=] Susanoo - God of the Sea and Storms.
- Susanoo, named for the God of the Sea and Storms, is a technique which uses the Mangekyou form of the Sharingan eye to create a sword wielding spectral form which will surround the user. This jutsu is generated by both Mangekyou eyes. Susanoo will first form around the user as a skeleton. This skeletal form will then generate muscle and armor for battle and wield both a sword and shield. The sword is formed out of the sake in the gourd it holds, meaning the sword has no true physical form. This legendary weapon, known as Totsuka's Sword and the Sakegari (Sake Cutting) Long Sword, utilizes the main ability of the jutsu. Anyone or anything cut by the blade will be sealed away into a Genjutsu of blissful oblivion until the end of time. It is said the sword is thus the ultimate counter to Orochimaru's Kusanagi Sword. The shield is known as Yata's Mirror. It is said this shield can defend against any attack. Together the sword and shield will make the Susanoo user nearly invincible. Like other Mangekyou techniques, usage of Susanoo will damage the eyes and health of the user.


[=] Mangekyou Sou - "Phase" Technique.
- This doujutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to generate chakra around the user. Allowing them to be hit by attacks and not be injured by them at all. They just phase through the techniques as if they weren't able to be touched. At all. This technique is only available at Etanaru Mangekyou, yet there is a form of it that can be used with a normal Mangekyou, which generates chakra around the air particles and solid substance particles which fuses your body together, merging the user past the object, not a gas (Such as fire or poisonous fumes) But DOES work with liquids.


[=] Mangekyou Kyuuzou - "Implosion" Technique.
- This doujutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which uses the Mangekyou Sharingan eye to generate an imploding transportation vortex. To begin Kakashi forms a handseal to change his normal three tomoe Sharingan into a new Mangekyou form. He then focuses on an area of his target. The surrounding area will then warp and collapse in on itself, quickly reducing the surrounding area to nothingness. The technique will transport the focused area away to another location. The technique caused a huge strain on Kakashi, utilizing a great deal of chakra. He was able to use the technique twice in succession and then revert back to three tomoe, it is unknown how many times he could use it before total exertion.


[=] Bunshin Bakudan - Shadow Clone Explosion.
Bunshin Bakuha is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Uchiha Itachi. At first glance the clone appears to be a normal Kage Bunshin, but Itachi can detonate the clone at any time to form a very large explosion of chakra.


[=] Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique.
- Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilzing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. Katon jutsu such as this are seen as a rite of passage into adulthood for Uchiha clan members. Once the member can manipulate fire, they are finally recognized as no longer being a child.


[=] Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique.
- Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.


[=] Magen • Kyouten Chiten - Demonic Illusion • Mirror Heaven and Earth Change
- Magen • Kyouten Chiten is a Genjutsu technique unique to the Uchiha bloodline Sharingan holders. Using the copy and counter functions of the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha clan member can stop the sensory spell cast on their body and reverse it back on their opponent.

[=] Ryuuka no Jutsu - Dragon Fire Technique
- Katon • Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the ninja uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target.


[=] Sharingan Sannotachi - Sharingan Triple Blade
- Sharingan Sannotachi is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Uchiha clan. Using the developed vision of the Sharingan eye, the clan member hurls three Windmill Shuriken which have wire attached. While in the air the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the attached wire binding them.

[=] Shishu Rendan – Lion Combo
- Shishu Rendan is a Taijutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke after he used his Sharingan to copy the movements of fellow Leaf ninja Rock Lee. Sasuke first uses the Konoha Kage Buyou to manuever his opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his opponent, Sasuke will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he is unable to make a clean strike, he will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his target's attention and defense to one area. He can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, Sasuke will deftly rotate his body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest.

[=] Karasu Rendan – Crow Combo
- Karasu Rendan is a Taijutsu developed by the Uchiha Clan, after using Sharingan, they take out 2 kunai attached with wire, they hold the wire and swing the kunai around the opponent, then the user slices the kunai down their shoulders, the wire then swiftly wrapping around their arms, after this they fling the body into the air, and flicker to their sides, where they continuously kick and punch the body, flicking around by kicking off of it, however each clan member that uses this Technique often changes things around with their style.

[=] Utakata - Ephemeral
- Utakata is a Genjutsu technique utilized by Akatsuki member Uchiha Itachi. Itachi will start this technique by using only one finger on his right hand. His target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, he can control the visions the ninja sees. This illusion can also be used to play on the fears of the target, causing them to see and hear those who they care about degrade them.

[=] Chidori – One Thousand Birds
- Chidori (a.k.a. Raikiri) is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Hatake Kakashi utilizing the Lightning Element. Chidori allows him to cut through any foe. Later, Uchiha Sasuke used his Sharingan and the training of Kakashi to also learn the technique. It was given the nickname Raikiri after it was said Kakashi used the technique to cut a lightning bolt in two. Chidori is used for assassination purposes. Activating the body to focus chakra to the hand, Kakashi and Sasuke's hand become enveloped by an electrical force. This force is their chakra altered in nature to an electrical current. By altering the shape of the force, similar to an electrical discharge, they can decide the power and range of the attack.

After concentrating all the chakra into the arm, Kakashi and Sasuke use their quickness and the power of the thrust from the chakra to pierce any object with the extended forearm. Because their opponent can easily counter the attack, it requires a Sharingan user to make the technique worthwhile. The Sharingan will allow them to predict any moves their opponent decides to make and send their strike home into the target. Due to the high speed, the force emits a sound like a thousand birds chirping which gave the technique its name. Because of the great amount of chakra needed to utilize the technique, the technique can only be used so many times during the day.


[=] Chidori Nagashi – One Thousand Birds Current
- Chidori Nagashi is a Ninjutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke out of the original Chidori technique. Instead of merely focusing the electrical force to his body, Sasuke is able to extend it outside of his body and through objects which he is holding. This allows him to create a protective zone around his person. This zone of electricity can shock and immobilize his foes, presumably by attacking their nervous system.

Used in conjunction with his Kusanagi sword, the blade becomes almost unstoppable. It takes on Chidori's natural ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. Should the sword strike a human, the charge will cause the target to go numb, lessening their ability to further counter his attacks.

- This unnamed Lightning Element technique was developed by Uchiha Sasuke. Sasuke is able to shape the Lightning Element to form senbon. Though unstated, these needles probably takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through most anything which stands in its path

[=] Chidori Yaiba – One Thousand Birds Sword
- This unnamed Lightning Element technique was developed by Uchiha Sasuke. Sasuke is able to shape the Lightning Element to form an extending blade of lightning. Though unstated, this blade probably takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. This attack may also be similar to Chidori Nagashi, causing the target to go numb from the electrical charge.

[=] Clan History:
The Uchiha clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be descended from the Hyuuga clan who possess the bloodline of the Byakugan eye. Because their clan possessed the Sharingan or "Wheel Eye," the Uchiha excelled at being able to read and fend off attackers. This made them prime candidates to help found the Konoha Military Police Corps. The organization itself would go on to incorporate the Uchiha fan symbol into their official logo.

Select few members of the Uchiha clan possess the ability to activate the bloodline Sharingan eye. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and see the tricks and movements required to be able to complete it. However the clan member can not copy techniques which are unique to another bloodline. It also gives one the ability to cast jutsu techniques only possible by possessing the eye.

The clan itself is known for their ties to fire. For a clan ninja to be seen as an adult, they must be able to utilize a Katon (Fire Element) jutsu such as Goukakyuu no Jutsu. Thus is the tie between the manipulation of fire and the mind of an Uchiha member.
